By now everyone is familiar with Velp Scientifica's ARE and AREC models. All over the world, the best laboratories rely on the quality of these products. It was hard to think what to improve on these products, but Velp managed to go further, once again improving stirring, heating and design performance, improving safety and comfort .

SHAKING PERFORMANCE
Velp's 5 Series hotplate stirrers feature a powerful brushless motor for all your laboratory applications and reactions, such as preparing samples and buffer solutions.
VELP Series 5 incorporates a gentle and precise stirring speed (up to 1500 rpm).
The stirrers also feature VELP-designed SpeedServo™ torque compensation technology, which ensures constant speed even when sample viscosity changes.
HEATING PERFORMANCE
The plate of the ARE/AREX 5 series defines new quality standards in your laboratory. Completely redesigned, it guarantees perfect temperature homogeneity and optimal heat transfer over the entire surface; reduces energy consumption (-18% compared to previous models) and ensures greater protection from chemicals and scratches.
It will be possible to choose between a 135 mm diameter CerAlTopTM (ceramic coated aluminum alloy) plate, available on the AREX 5 and AREX 5 Digital models, and a 135 mm diameter aluminum plate, available on the ARE 5 and RC models 5.
By turning the left knob, you can easily adjust the temperature from room temperature up to 310°C.
Furthermore, when thermoregulation of the liquid is required, it is possible to connect the AREX 5 with the VTF or the AREX 5 Digital with the VTF, the Pt100 and the new Pt1000.
SECURITY
The internal electronic parts are protected by the plate structure and an insulating disc which, together with the robust die-cast aluminum housing, allows the ARE/AREX 5 Series to withstand even the most demanding laboratory applications and environments, such as when working with cold fluids (below 0°C).
The new control panel has been carefully designed to optimize visibility and ease of use. Furthermore, being positioned at a safe distance from the plate, we can guarantee effective protection from any damage caused by liquid spills.
The careful safety systems are also guaranteed on the analogue models, thanks to the indicators which inform the operator when the heating is active and the plate temperature is higher than 50°C (even if the instrument is off). Safety circuits and overtemperature protection protect users in their daily operations.
Like most Velp products, these magnetic heating stirrers are designed to last and are guaranteed for 3 years (online product registration required).
