Cooling system

B Medical Systems places its refrigeration systems at the bottom of the freezer.
All components are of the highest quality and the powerful compressor allows you to reach the temperature quickly, even after opening the door.
The temperature is ensured by a latest generation regulation sensor and a display sensor which, located in a reference bottle, simulates the temperature fluctuations suffered by any product stored inside the freezer.

- Precision freezers use a static cooling system, which transmits the cold via conduction in the air.

- Premium models use a forced air cooling system where cold air is pushed into the cabinet to maintain the correct storage temperature. The evaporator fan will automatically turn off when the door is opened to avoid dispersing the cold into the room as much as possible.
These freezers are also equipped with automatic gas defrost, which is faster and more energy efficient than the electric defrost cycle.

To find out more about the automatic defrosting technology used by B Medical System plasma freezers we recommend reading the document 'Smart Plasma storage freezers'.

Control and alarms

Both series of freezers are equipped with a complete alarm system which includes:
- Acoustic and visual alarm signals in case of temperature alarm and system failure
- Door opening alarm (visual/acoustic)
- Remote alarm
- Autonomous system with battery, which will continue measuring the temperature even in the event of a fault or power failure for up to 48 hours.

The Precision line uses a full control panel with all the alarm features you need to keep your units safe.

Data download occurs via USB and it is possible to obtain temperature, alarm, messages and event data.

The Premium line uses a large, advanced touchscreen display that is easy to use. Compared to the precision line you will be able to have clear color warnings on the display, greater control over the unit and internal data recording: min. temperature. and max.; average temperature and duration of alarms.

Data download occurs via USB or SD card and it is possible to obtain temperature, alarm, message and event data. Furthermore, these models are already prepared for the °B Connected monitoring system.

Energy efficiency and certifications

Energy saving, efficiency and durability were other important key words for the design of these freezers.

Superior insulation, quality materials and innovative solutions make the product more expensive than the average, but the investment will be easily recovered in a few years thanks to daily energy savings, the numerous standard options and prompt assistance.

Additionally, all B Medical Systems plasma freezers use an environmentally friendly refrigerant (R290) to minimize the impact that the operation of these units may have on the environment. As proof, B Medical Systems' natural refrigerants meet the expectations of the US SNAP program and EU-F Gas regulations.
